Price suggestion
Golfshop.de offers its customers the opportunity to "bid" on some products in our store. You may already be familiar with this from eBay: you enter your desired price. The good thing is that you can only bid lower with us and there is no competition.
How does the price suggestion work on Golfshop.de?
The price suggestion works very simply. Below the "Add to cart" button you will see a gray button for some items, as shown here in the example:
Now click on the "Log in and bid!" button. You will then be redirected to our login page. If you are already a customer, please log in. If you are not yet a customer, please register. Then go back to your desired item.
The button has now changed to an input field. You can now enter your desired price there.
If the desired price is accepted by our system, you will see a green box with a confirmation on this page. You now have 1 hour to accept this offer. After one hour, the option to purchase at your desired price will expire.
How is a price proposal decided?
The price decision is made by our server with the help of artificial intelligence. It compares stock levels, competitor prices, supply and demand and then makes a decision. Just like our prices, these parameters sometimes change daily.
How often can you bid?
You have the option of bidding three times per item. But please note that if your bid is unsuccessful, you can only bid again on the same item after 48 hours.
When can you bid again if you have not ordered at the agreed price?
If you have not placed your order within one hour of placing your bid, you can only bid on the same item again after 7 days.
Why doesn't the item have a suggested price?
Unfortunately, some items in our online store do not have a bid option. Some manufacturers calculate very tightly and give us little scope for price reductions. Please understand this.
